Situated on the main A27 between Southampton and Romsey, with its entrance alongside the Chilworth Arms pub/restaurant, Chilworth Hall is a focal point for the local community. It is well suited for meetings, clubs, community groups, dance groups, adult and children’s parties and family celebrations.
[NB Because of repeated incidents of damage to the fabric of the Hall at private parties the Management Committee is currently, with regret, following a policy of only taking private party bookings from people who actually live in Chilworth. This immediately reduces the number of private parties, and takes advantage of the observation that people are less likely to misbehave in their own neighbourhood. Exceptions are made for those from outside Chilworth who have previously made two private party bookings with no problems.]
It’s possible to book a small or large room or to combine the two by folding back the dividing doors. There is also a committee room which is ideal for meetings of groups of up to a dozen or so people. There is a spacious kitchen with hatches on two sides. The hall has its own car park with 40 marked spaces, which backs onto the well-kept Village Green.

We don’t give prominence to the Hall’s postcode, because if used for SatNavs it directs our visitors to a cul-de-sac half a mile away! Better to use the name of the village, and then use the map below when you get close.
