On Friday, Chilworth Moviola is showing The Keeper, a biographical, romantic drama telling the story of Bert Trautmann, a German paratrooper who after being released from his PoW camp at the end of WWII became Manchester City’s goalkeeper. For those who aren’t football fans, fear not – this is more a romantic biopic than a footie film.Tickets are just £5, exclusively from Eventbrite. It’s important to reserve a ticket, but you may elect to pay at the door. Simply select ‘Pay at the door’ when the system asks for your credit card number.
There’s tea/coffee and popcorn on offer, and you may BYOB. If you’ve not been to Moviola at the Hall before, why not come along and enjoy a great film in a cosy atmosphere? Be among the first to try out our new seats. Don’t forget that we have also announced another two Moviola dates, for which tickets are also already on sale. On 7th June there’s Wild Rose, and on 7th July it’s Arctic.
