The Chandlers Ford Stroke Group, founded in 2012, covers a wide area of south Hampshire, including Chilworth. The post-pandemic restart of in-person meetings is coinciding with an influx of new survivors, and so more volunteer helpers would be most welcome. If you could see yourself responding to the call, read on for more information. Continue reading →

FAQs

What is this site?

This site is provided by a resident on a voluntary basis. It was originally requested by our late Test Valley Borough Councillor, Alison Finlay, back in 2012. The Parish Council now uses its registered e-mail addresses as a communication channel to residents. In addition to regular e-mails, the site itself lists the monthly updates of our Parish, Borough and County Councillors, as well as carrying information from our local MP whenever it is provided. In addition to all this its home page is a blog with posts about topical issues, and via its menu structure wealth of local information is available.

Why sign up?

Letting us have your e-mail address enables us to alert you to important news or new facilities.  It also enables you to comment, and we’re very keen to have feedback.

Is it safe?

There’s no e-commerce aspect… no money changes hands on this site. If we have your e-mail address, the only thing we use it for is simply getting in touch with you. Your e-mail address is held securely and will never be shared with any third-party.  You can unsubscribe from our communications at any time.

May I contribute?

You certainly may. In fact, we really hope you do. If you have information or insights to share, or if you need some kind of help from the rest of the community, this site will work for you. You can either use the comment facilities on posts and pages if you’re registered, or simply get in touch with the Editor by e-mail.
