Many thanks to all those who entered into the spirit of this event, you helped us to raise almost £1500 for the Hall’s refurbishment which is obviously a very welcome boost to the fund. Commiserations to those whose bids were pipped at the post: we hope you’re not too disappointed.
The “latest bids” page has been updated. We’ll allow daytime Sunday for checks and protests, and the final results will be announced at the Moviola on Sunday evening. Several winning bids are from anonymous bidders. Winners will receive confirmations by e-mail, along with a note about arrangements for payment and collection of bids.

To allow time for more bids, the organisers of Chilworth Hall’s online auction have decided to extend the bidding period until early March. A number of generous benefactors have donated lots for the Hall Committee to auction to raise funds towards the final phase of the refurbishment project. The Star Lot is a week in an Alpine holiday home. Bidding will be by e-mail, and will open after the next Moviola showing on Sunday, 15th January. Bidding will close at midnight on 8th February, and winning bids will be announced at Chilworth Moviola the next evening, Sunday 9th.
