Cllr Alison Finlay has organised a Sustainability Fair that will take place on Sunday 6th October from 1pm until 4pm at Chilworth Hall.
You will be able to find out all you wanted to know about electric cars and bikes (from those who actually use them), ideas on recycling and upcycling, sales of fresh produce and planet-friendly tee shirts, Lush cosmetics etc.etc.
There will also be input from the water company which serves the local area and others who have an interest in conserving resources.
Local honey and other produce, including tasting sessions, will be available as well as examples of recycled goods. There will be competitions for children (and adults, maybe) and lots, lots more.
Jamie’s Computers van will be there to collect your surplus computer items (PCs, laptops, power supplies, routers etc), which they recycle and sell in aid of homeless people.
Parking will be on the Village Green, accessed via Manor Road, except for the electric vehicles which will be on display in the Hall car park.
