Sports Centre – Urgent!

A series of drop-in consultations is already under way (4th-13th November) at which you may have your say on the future of Southampton Sports Centre.  It may be outside Test Valley, but it’s right on our doorstep and our views will be taken into account.  Read on for more information, including a poster with all the drop-in times/locations.Southampton City Councillor Matthew Tucker (Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Leisure), who is also the Councillor responsible for the Sports Centre, has requested a series of drop-in sessions to gather views of local people. The drop-ins are at venues conveniently located near the Sports Centre – dates/times all in the poster. It is very important that the views of local residents are brought into any future developments of the Sports Centre so it is very much hoped that you will be able to come along and meet Tina Dyer-Slade (who works for Cllr Tucker) and folk from Active Nation and the Friends of Southampton Sports Centre.
