Chilworth may be on the very edge of Southampton but it falls under Test Valley Borough Council, which is headquartered in Andover. The council’s very useful website may be found here.

Chilworth forms part of the Chilworth, Nursling and Rownhams ward, which has three Borough Councillors. Currently there is only one councillor for the ward (see below) with by-elections pending following the death of Cllr Nigel Anderdon and, more recently, that of Cllr Alison Finlay.
