Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th June Bournemouth – Bournemouth Wheels Festival
Britain’s biggest, and free, wheels themed event is back for a third year with lots to do and see from Monster Truck parades to BMX stunts, Formula 1 cars to classic cars. Over 300,000 people attended the 2015 festival and the organisers are hoping for a bigger and better one this year. The festival will run from 3rd till 5th June with action once again taking place all along the beach between Bournemouth and Boscombe, up on Overcliff Drive, at the BIC, in the Lower Gardens and town centre and up at The Triangle. The festival is open daily from 10.00am closing at 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday and at 5.30pm on Sunday.
Wednesday 8th June Winchester – Science Centre & Planetarium Lecture Series
The Ghost Universe by Dr Francisco Diego. Evening lectures on the second Wednesday’s of the Month at 4.30pm and 6.30pm, each follow by a short Planetarium Show about the month’s sky. More info at the Science Centre’s website.
Tuesday 14th – Thursday 16th June Southampton – Seawork International 2016
Seawork International is Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition and will return in 2016 to its new permanent home at the prestigious Mayflower Park in Southampton.
Thursday 23rd – Sunday 26th June Chichester – Festival of Speed 2016
The Festival of Speed is the largest motoring garden party in the world – a unique summer weekend that brings together an impossibly heady mix of cars, stars and motorsport ‘royalty’ to create the largest car culture event in the world. Air display includes Red Arrows.

Monday 11th – Sunday 17th July Farnborough – Farnborough International Airshow 2016
Taking place just once every 2 years, the Farnborough International Airshow is one of the most iconic events in Hampshire, if not the world. Held at the historical Farnborough Aerodrome in Hampshire – the birthplace of British aviation, the show features a jam-packed flying display both on the ground and in the air, as well as a multitude of entertainment features. www.farnborough.com
Thursday 21st – Sunday 24th July Portsmouth – The Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series
The hottest sailing competition in the world, returns to Portsmouth in July. Red Arrows display on Friday 22nd July.
