Sunday 6th August Salisbury – Old Sarum Airfield Event

A popular event for vintage and classic cars, motorbikes and aircraft. Held on the first Sunday of every month as an informal gathering. Free entry. Arrivals from 10am Free landings for all aircraft registered before 1960. On arrival, follow the signs and look out for marshals who will direct you to a dedicated parking area. Cars and motorbikes must not enter the active airfield. Information on events at Old Sarum can be found on the website:

Friday 11th – Sunday 13th August Newbury – Retrofestival

The largest retro festival in the UK, 3 live stages, over 300 exhibiters, up to 1000 classic/vintage vehicles and air displays. Due to the problems encountered last year because of the proximity to Heathrow flight paths and the restrictions and legislation changes following the Shoreham Air Show disaster, the Festival management has decided to cut back on air displays and increase activity in the arena. Weather permitting, there will still be a fly past by a Spitfire on Saturday afternoon.

Friday 25th to Sunday 27th August Basingstoke – CarFest South 2017

CarFest South will take place at Laverstoke Park Farm, Overton, Hampshire. Laverstoke Park Farm Hampshire. CarFest is an annual motoring festival held in Cheshire (“CarFest North”) and Hampshire (“CarFest South”), England. It was founded by the radio presenter Chris Evans in 2012 and raises funds for Children in Need, a British charity.

Thursday 31st Aug – Sunday 3rd September – Bournemouth Air Festival 2017

Free and by the Sea. Coming this year from 31st August to 3rd September, The UK’s biggest air festival is an unmissable weekend of wonder: in the air, on land and at sea. Award winning and internationally renowned, the Bournemouth Air Festival has welcomed more than 8 million people to the UK’s leading resort since its inception in 2008.  The Patron’s Club has raised an estimated £100,000 for Air Festival charities, nominated by the Armed Forces.


15-24th September Southampton – Southampton Boat Show 2017

See the best boats and marine brands gathered together at Britain’s biggest boating festival. Southampton Boat Show is a spectacular world class annual event held in September and attracts visitors, exhibitors and investors from all over the world. An on-water Show boasting Europe’s purpose built Show marina located in Southampton, the cruise and boating capital of the UK. The Show started in 1969 and is held annually in September. An important sales platform for both national and international businesses attracting over 110,000 visitors. The Show attracts high net worth individuals from the UK and around the world. The Show is one of Southampton’s biggest events and takes over the City for a 10 day period, whilst people of all walks of life discover what the marine industry has to offer them.
